Rachel E.

Rachel E. currently serves as the Vice President of Research and Early Development at Kriya Therapeutics, Inc., where responsibilities include leading multiple AAV gene therapy programs in Ophthalmology and Neurology. Previously, Rachel acted as the Senior Director and Director for Ophthalmology Development, overseeing various AAV gene therapy initiatives. Rachel's prior experience includes roles at BridgeBio as Associate Director of Preclinical Gene Therapy, focusing on AAV therapies for rare diseases and hearing loss, and at the University of Chicago as Resident Head and Postdoctoral Scholar. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
