Martin Zygmunt has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Martin began their career as a Customer Service Rep. and Warehouse Manager at XS Cargo. In 2008, they moved on to become a General Warehouse Worker at Fastrek Express, where they were responsible for improving safety records and motivating their co-workers. In 2011, they became a Refrigeration Technician Helper at Climatemp Systems. In 2012, they took an Engineering Intern role at Great Degrees Inc., where they worked closely with the owner of the company and was responsible for sales, installation, maintenance, and design of HVAC systems. In 2013, they took an HVAC Communications Engineer Internship at Applied Controls and Contracting Services, where they learned about the various programs used in the HVAC industry, worked with AutoCad, and worked in the field with certified technicians. Finally, in 2018, they began their current role as a Controls Engineer at Kroeschell Inc.

Martin Zygmunt obtained an Associate's degree in Energy Management Technology from Humber College between 2007 and 2010, and an Associate's degree in HVAC Technician from Humber College between 2007 and 2010. Martin then went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science for HVACR Engineering Technology from Ferris State University between 2010 and 2013. In 2014, they obtained a Niagara AX Technical Certification from Tridium, and in 2019 they obtained a Niagara 4 Technical Certification from Tridium.
