Alvaro Jimenez Arigita

Alvaro Jimenez Arigita is a driven finance professional with diverse experience in both academic and practical settings. As Co-Founder and President of the CIB & Financial Services Club at the University of Greenwich since November 2022, Alvaro successfully established a thriving group of over 190 members, organized impactful events with industry leaders, and received recognition as "Best new society 22-23." Previous roles include serving as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at GBS Finance and an M&A Off-Cycle Analyst at NORGESTION, where Alvaro contributed to middle market transactions and participated in financial analysis processes. Alvaro also gained experience as a Corporate & Investment Banking Intern at BBVA, where responsibilities included client coordination and market analysis. As a Student Mentor at the University of Greenwich, Alvaro supported peers in their academic journeys. Alvaro holds a BA Hons in Business with Finance from the University of Greenwich and completed the Spanish Baccalaureate in Science/Biological Sciences at Colegio Nuestra Señora del Recuerdo.
