Stephen Hughes has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. From 2008-2013, they worked as an Assistant at Pat's Pool and Spa Repair, where they completed various given tasks with minimal guidance and supervision, working quickly to finish tasks in a timely and effective manner while maintaining quality of work. From 2013-2016, they held the role of Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Biomaterials and Surface Micro/Nano-Engineering Laboratory, where they manufactured titanium nanotubes by anodizing in a hydrofluoric acid solution followed by annealing at high temperature, as well as performing a variety of assays to analyze biomaterial hemocompatability and lab maintenance and organization. Additionally, they held the role of Resident Assistant at Colorado State University from 2013-2016. From 2016-present, Stephen has held the roles of Operations Engineer II, Operations Engineer, and Intern - Research Assistant and Bioinformatics Development at KromaTiD™ Inc.

Stephen Hughes attended Colorado State University from 2012 to 2017 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
