Stefan Knowles has worked in the IT industry since 1989. Stefan began their career as an Operations Manager at Applied Telematics Group Ltd / AXL Performance Solutions Ltd. In 1998, they moved to Birds Eye Foods as an I.T. Security Administrator, where they were responsible for the security of all UK company servers and desktop systems, as well as Disaster Recovery and Backups. In 2004, they became an ICT Technician at BENNETT MEMORIAL DIOCESAN SCHOOL, responsible for the I.T. infrastructure serving both students and staff. In 2005, they joined KPS Systems as an I.T. Infrastructure Administrator, and in 2006 they moved to The Friendly Fisherman as an eCommerce/I.T. Administrator. At Sevenoaks School from 2012 to 2017, Stefan served as an IT Service Desk Administrator, providing first and second line support to 1300+ users, 750 desktop PCs and Macs, staff and student BYODs. In 2017, they joined Aqualisa Products Limited as a Network & Systems Administrator, supporting the local infrastructure (server and network) and maintaining the cloud environments of both the VoIP system and the Office 365 environment for approximately 350 staff. In 2021, Stefan began working as an IT Manager at Kromek Group plc.

Stefan Knowles attended The Skinners' School from 1982 to 1987, where they studied General. Stefan has also obtained a number of certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker from the EC-Council in April 2017, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in January 2017, CompTIA A+ Certification from CompTIA in April 2014, CompTIA Network+ Certification from CompTIA in May 2014, and Administering a SQL Database Infrastructure from QA Technology Company, Inc.
