Steve Foreman has worked in the software engineering field for over 20 years. Steve began their career in 1996 as a Development Engineer at Reyrolle Protection, where they were responsible for product development, software design and implementation for embedded devices, and formal software documentation. In 2001, they moved to VisiTech International Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for leading a small team of software developers and developing automated products for Windows PC. In 2004, they joined activAeon Ltd as a Software Developer, where they worked on various elements of the activAeon XA product from design to implementation. In 2005, they moved to Bede Scientific Instruments Ltd as a Software Engineer. Finally, in 2008, they joined Kromek Group plc as a Systems Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager.

Steve Foreman has a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Teesside University, which they obtained between 1992 and 1996. Steve has also obtained a range of certifications from various institutions, including the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), TÜV SÜD, LinkedIn, Mountain Goat Software, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, Common Purpose, and the Scrum Alliance.
