Shaaran Lakshminarayanan has held a variety of positions in the tech industry. In 2020, they founded Krypto, a cryptocurrency trading platform. In 2019, they were the Chief Technology Officer of Celebrify. In 2018, they were a Machine Learning Facilitator at Google, a Freelance Developer at MAJEES TECHNICAL SERVICES LLC, and a Freelance Software Developer and Freelance at Toshiba. In 2017, they were a Senior Developer at GDG VIT, a Core Committee Member at roboVITics - The Official Robotics Club of VIT, and a Machine Learning Engineer at Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

Shaaran Lakshminarayanan has a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology which was obtained between 2017 and 2021. Shaaran also participated in the Stanford University Scholar Initiative in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, they obtained an Advanced Electronics certification from EduTech in June 2015 and an Introduction to Electronics and Circuit Designing certification from Innovians Technologies in November 2014.
