Brisa Colón is a seasoned reporter and fill-in anchor currently working for KSBW 8 NBC, Central Coast ABC, and Estrella TV since June 2022. As a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists since August 2018, Brisa's commitment to diversity in journalism is evident. Prior experience includes roles as an NBCU Academy Fellow, Executive Producer and Host of Al Día's 'Lo Que Esta Trending', and various positions at Titan Communications, including News Anchor and Reporter. An internship with CNN further enhanced Brisa's skills, alongside other internships that provided valuable experience in communications and social media. Brisa holds a degree in Communications with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Fullerton, and a High School Diploma with academic honors from Oxford Academy.
