Karambir Singh Rai (KB) has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Karambir Singh is currently the Chief Growth Officer at Kshema General Insurance Limited. Karambir Singh then joined Digicel Group as the Head of Marketing before moving to J. Walter Thompson Worldwide as the Managing Director for the Tanzania and Kenya offices. At J. Walter Thompson, they handled accounts for several well-known brands in Sub Saharan Africa. KB's experience also includes working at Ogilvy as the General Manager for Sub Saharan Africa, overseeing client services for Airtel Africa across 17 countries. Karambir Singh started their career at Rediffusion Y&R as the Business Head and Vice President and later joined Publicis Groupe as the Client Services Director. KB began their career at DDB Mudra Group as an Associate Account Director.

Karambir Singh Rai (KB) attended Campion School in Mumbai from 1984 to 1991, where they completed their ICSE. Karambir Singh then went on to H.R. College of Commerce and Economics from 1991 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Commerce. Following this, from 1996 to 1998, they attended Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS Rohini) and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing.
