Avery Ikeda

Avery Ikeda is an experienced professional currently serving as the Assistant News Director at Kswo TV, overseeing the daily operations of the newsroom since September 2022. Previously, Avery held the position of Office Director and District Liaison for Supervisor Matt Haney at the San Francisco Board of Supervisors from February 2019 to December 2022, where the focus was on constituent relations. Additional experience includes a legal internship at the San Francisco Public Defender's Office, managing fundraising and social events as Director of Chapter Events for Alpha Phi International Fraternity, and coordinating programs for international students. Avery holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and English from Santa Clara University and has also studied at the University of Cape Town.
