Luis Zuniga

Luis Zuniga has extensive experience in both sports coaching and journalism. Since August 2015, Luis has held multiple coaching positions at East Valley Senior High School, including Head Football Coach, Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach, Assistant Football Coach, and JV Basketball Head Coach, while also serving as a Play-By-Play Announcer. In the journalism field, Luis has worked at KTLA as an Assignment Editor and Assignment Desk Assistant since July 2020, and founded Life Beyond The Whistle Blog in November 2017, contributing as a writer. Previously, Luis was a Reporter for Valley View News from January 2019 to December 2019 and held a dual role as a reporter and writer at 88.5 KCSN, enhancing skills in broadcast journalism. Luis earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Northridge, in 2020.
