Brandon Carter

Brandon Carter serves as an Assignment Editor for Social at The Washington Post since March 2023, overseeing a team of three social editors and driving off-platform social strategy, which has led to significant growth in audience reach and subscriber conversions. Prior to this role, Brandon worked at NPR in various positions from April 2018 to February 2023, including Associate Producer for Social Media in Politics and Assistant Producer. Brandon also held a role as Social Media Curator at The Hill and has extensive experience in media production and social media management through previous positions at College Heights Herald, WKU Talisman, and other organizations. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Western Kentucky University.
