Di Wu is a Postdoctoral Researcher at KU Leuven since 2019, focusing on the control of multi-DOF catheters in unknown environments. As a Marie Curie joint Ph.D. scholar, Di Wu has also collaborated with Technische Universiteit Delft, where similar research was conducted. A Visiting Researcher at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in early 2023, Di Wu previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, concentrating on robotic system development for needle-based MRI-guided interventions. Di Wu holds a Ph.D. in Robotics from both Delft University of Technology and KU Leuven, as well as a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Technical University of Munich. An exchange semester in Mechanical Engineering was completed at EPFL, along with a research internship at The Johns Hopkins University.
