Seppe Driesen is a PhD researcher at KU Leuven and KUL Biosensors, focusing on the application of DNA nanotechnology for novel biosensing concepts under the guidance of Professor Jeroen Lammertyn. Additionally, Driesen holds a PhD Fellowship in Strategic Basic Research from the Research Foundation Flanders - FWO, where research efforts continue in the same area. Driesen's academic background includes a Master's degree in Bioscience Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from KU Leuven, complemented by earlier education at WICO Campus Sint-Hubertus. Prior to the current research roles, Driesen gained work experience as a shop assistant at Colruyt Group from March 2014 to August 2019.
