Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sharma has a diverse work experience in various roles related to procurement, research supervision, and plantation management. Dr. SUDHIR KUMAR is currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Procurement at Kuantum Papers Ltd, where they are responsible for wood procurement, yard and plantation management, and is also a member of the FSC-NFSS SDG Social Chamber.
In the past, Dr. Sharma has held positions such as Research Supervisor/Visiting Professor at Shri Venketeshwar University Gajrola and Supervisor/Co-supervisor/Visiting Professor at Mewar University, Chittorgarh. Dr. SUDHIR KUMAR has also worked as Head of Raw Material and FSC CW Administrator at JK Paper Ltd, where they were responsible for procuring raw materials, monitoring quality, identifying suppliers, and preparing reports.
Additionally, Dr. Sharma has experience in plantation management, particularly in clonal production of pulpwood species, at West Coast Paper Mills and Shree Shyam Pulp & Board Mills Ltd. Dr. SUDHIR KUMAR has also worked as an Assistant Manager at Kuantum Papers Ltd, where they focused on developing model plots of clonal eucalyptus plantation and promoting agroforestry.
Earlier in their career, Dr. Sharma worked as a Research Scientist in clonal propagation at Star Paper Mills Limited and conducted plant tissue culture research at the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, where they obtained their Ph.D. by developing a commercial protocol for propagating eucalyptus hybrids through tissue culture technology.
Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sharma obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from CCS (Chaudhary Charan Singh) University in 2002. Dr. SUDHIR KUMAR went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from the same university in 2004. Dr. Sharma then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in FORESTRY(PLANT BIOTECHNOLOGY) from the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, graduating in 2008. Dr. SUDHIR KUMAR also holds a certification in DNV ISO Internal Auditor from DNV GL.
