Paweł Kosiec

Paweł Kosiec has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Paweł is currently working as a Team Lead & Senior Software Engineer at Kubeshop, where they are responsible for leading a team and developing software. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Kubeshop as well.

Before joining Kubeshop, Paweł was employed at capactio where they held the role of Core Maintainer. Paweł was involved in the development of the Capact project and also served as a Scrum Master. Paweł utilized various technologies such as Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, GraphQL, gRPC, REST, TypeScript, and React.

Paweł also worked at CSHARK as a Line Manager and Senior Go & Kubernetes Developer. Along with their technical responsibilities, they also served as a Scrum Master and worked full-time on the Capact project.

Prior to their employment at capactio and CSHARK, Paweł gained experience at SAP. Paweł worked as a Senior Cloud Developer and Cloud Developer, specializing in Go and JavaScript. Paweł also worked as a Full-stack Cloud Developer at SAP and as a UI Developer in the Demo Solutions department.

In addition to their professional experience, Paweł has also worked as a Freelancer at kosiec.net. Paweł freelanced for eight years before transitioning to full-time employment.

Paweł Kosiec completed their education in computer science at the Silesian University of Technology. Paweł obtained their Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from 2013 to 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from 2017 to 2018, also at the Silesian University of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Paweł Kosiec obtained two certifications related to Kubernetes administration and application development. Paweł became a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) in April 2020 through the CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation), and a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) in December 2019, also from the CNCF.
