Kidus Asfaw

Kidus Asfaw has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Kidus is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Kubik, Inc. since September 2021. Before that, they worked at UNICEF for four years, from October 2017 to September 2021, as the Technology and Innovation Partnerships Lead. Prior to that, Kidus held various roles at UNICEF, including Product Manager at the Field Results Group and Global Innovation Centre from June 2014 to July 2017 and October 2014 to October 2015, respectively. Kidus was an Innovation Consultant at The World Bank from February 2013 to June 2014. Kidus also has experience at Accenture as a Technology Lead from August 2010 to September 2012, at Google as a Localization PM from July 2008 to July 2009, and at the U.S. Department of State as a Science and Technology Policy Intern from May 2006 to August 2006.

Kidus Asfaw obtained a BSE in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Duke University in the years 2004 to 2008. Later on, from 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Public Affairs, specializing in Development Economics and International Development, from Princeton University. They also hold additional certifications as a Six Sigma Green Belt and a Certified Scrum Master.
