Miguel Diaz

Miguel Diaz has a solid work experience in the field of data science and research. Miguel started their career as a Research Assistant at Facultad de Ciencias, UNAM in July 2018. In this role, they collected, prepared, and analyzed data for weekly reports, researched economic data for market trend forecasts, and utilized macros and regression models to analyze financial data.

From December 2018 to June 2019, Miguel worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Data Science Academy Mexico. During this time, they verified data quality, explored complex datasets, and used data modeling and evaluation strategies to find patterns and predict complex features.

Currently, Miguel is employed at kubo.financiero as a Data Scientist since June 2019. Their responsibilities include understanding business objectives, developing models to achieve them, performing statistical analysis and interpreting test results, and designing supervised and unsupervised machine learning models for various department priorities.

Miguel Diaz completed their Bachelor of Economics degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, from 2014 to 2018. In 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Diploma of Education in Big Data from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional.

Additionally, Miguel Diaz has obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they completed a Data Science Nanodegree, Data Structures & Algorithms, Intermediate Python, Machine Learning Nanodegree, and SQL courses from Udacity. In January 2021, they obtained a Hands-on AI Projects certification from Ai Lab School.
