Candace Kelly

Candace Kelly has over 20 years of work experience, with a focus on IT risk analysis and compliance. Candace began their career as the President of their own consulting firm, C. Kelly & Associates, where they provided strategic guidance and leadership. Candace then joined Toys"R"Us as an IT Project Manager, overseeing infrastructure and software development projects. Candace later became the IS Compliance Manager at Toys"R"Us, where they ensured compliance with industry security, privacy, and risk frameworks. In 2020, they started their own IT consulting business, Simcoe Enterprise Solutions, where they created and launched the company, defined its mission and objectives, and developed marketing and sales initiatives. Candace currently works as a Senior IT Risk Analyst at KUBRA, where they provide expertise in identifying and managing IT risks.

Candace Kelly, CISM, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Biology from the University of Guelph, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Candace also has several additional certifications, including the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from LinkedIn, which they obtained in June 2023. Candace has also obtained certifications such as PCI 4.0 First Look, CCSK Cert Prep, CRISC Cert Prep, and the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from various institutions and platforms such as LinkedIn and ISACA.
