Sandhya Balu

Sandhya Balu started their professional career as an Intern at Truzio Technologies Inc in December 2017. During their internship, they implemented an open-source ERP system for JNTUK- Grievances monitoring system of Registrar office using the Odoo framework.

In June 2018, Sandhya joined Ivy Comptech as a Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included designing and developing the industry-leading gaming B2C Hybrid Mobile application, integrating signalR into the application for real-time odds updates, and developing microservices for a business intelligence dashboard to increase website traffic. Sandhya played a major role in development, producing 80% of the code and overseeing code quality.

Starting in 2020, Sandhya worked as a Software Developer at HealthNet Global. Their contributions included revamping the company's health management system portal, enhancing user privacy through authentication protocols, and implementing microservices for communication with medical devices. This enabled real-time collection of patient vital signs for timely health status updates.

From 2016 to 2022, Sandhya was a University Innovation Fellow at JNTUK. Sandhya participated in a Silicon Valley meetup in California and learned about design thinking and prototyping.

In 2022, Sandhya joined Arizona State University as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Assistant. As a Teaching Assistant, they provided general assistance to faculty members, tutored students in a Computer Network Security course, and developed coursework plans. As a Graduate Student Assistant, they conducted doubt clarifying sessions, provided feedback to students, and graded exams, assignments, and quizzes.

Currently, Sandhya Balu is working as a Software Engineer at KUBRA, starting in May 2023.
