Maikel van Herpen

Maikel van Herpen has an extensive work experience in project management, software engineering, and IT development. Maikel currently holds the position of Agile Development Manager at both KUBUS BV and BIMcollab, starting in April 2022. Previously, they worked at INNAX as an IT Development Manager Energy Navigator & Scrum Master from July 2020 to April 2022. Before that, they served as the Manager of IT Development & Operations at e-nolis B.V. from October 2017 to July 2020. From October 2011 to September 2017, they worked as a Project Manager at SeaChange International, where they were also a Software Engineer from January 2008 to October 2011. Additionally, they worked as an MSc Student at Philips Research, participating in the first setup of a project involving the detection of malaria infected blood cells on a microscopical image and designing and implementing algorithms.

Maikel van Herpen pursued their education starting from 1991 until 1997 at Jeroen Bosch College. However, the specific degree and field of study during this period are unknown. Subsequently, from 1997 to 2007, they attended Eindhoven University of Technology, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Maikel also obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in August 2019.
