Heath Attia

Heath Attia has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Heath started their career in 2010 as a Volunteer at Kibbutz Hazoreah in Israel and Palestine, where they worked as a carpenter and led discussions on political and social issues.

In 2012, they joined Highland Hospital as a Volunteer, where they received training and medical clearances to work with nursing and hospital staff. Heath performed tasks such as EKGs and assisted with triage and incoming traumas.

From 2012 to 2015, Attia worked at AT&T as a Sales Support Engineer. In this role, they acted as a customer advocate and addressed issues related to signal coverage and billing.

Heath then transitioned to a Product Manager role at Airbanq in 2015, where they managed customer interactions, increased user base, and oversaw the release cycle of mobile applications. Heath also created and maintained documentation for various purposes.

In 2016, Attia joined TransRobotics as a Technical Product Manager. Heath focused on rapid research, prototyping, and integration of time of flight sensors for applications in mixed reality, healthcare, and UAVs. Heath worked closely with clients, stakeholders, and engineering teams to achieve goals.

At TransRobotics, they also worked as a Software Development Intern from 2016 to 2017, where they performed detailed analysis, developed software, and devised testing scenarios.

From 2020 to 2021, Attia was a Technical Sales Engineer at Waymo. Heath worked on the Laserbear team, bringing Waymo's perception hardware to key markets. Their role involved interfacing with sales, customers, and engineering to solve customer issues and identify new features. Heath also provided support for external APIs and packages.

In 2021, Attia joined AEye, Inc. as a Senior Field Application Engineer. In this high impact role, they served as a product expert to customers and internal teams, providing pre and post-sales support. Heath also provided key insights to product and engineering teams, funneling features and customer requests.

Most recently, they joined Kudan in 2023 as a Senior Technical Sales Engineer.

Heath Attia has completed a Self Driving Car program at Udacity, specializing in Robotics Technology/Technician and Machine Learning. They have also earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Diablo Valley College. Additionally, they have completed a Self Driving Car Nano Degree at Udacity, focusing on various areas such as Robotics, Machine Learning, Deep-Learning, Neural Networks, and Automotive.
