Brecht Wyseur

Brecht Wyseur is a seasoned cybersecurity expert with extensive experience in product management and strategy, particularly in the context of IoT security. Currently serving as Senior Product Manager at Kudelski IoT since February 2017, Brecht plays a pivotal role in shaping security roadmaps and supporting product security for device manufacturers and IoT solution operators. In addition to contributing as an expert in various standards organizations such as CEN/CENELEC and the Connectivity Standards Alliance, Brecht chairs the Threat Model Tiger Team and leads the Security Task Force at the DLMS User Association. Previous roles include Security Architect at NAGRA and postdoctoral researcher at K.U.Leuven, where Brecht specialized in cryptography and software security. Brecht holds a PhD in Cryptography from COSIC (KU Leuven) and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from KU Leuven, complemented by executive education from INSEAD.
