Frank Shirmo

Frank Shirmo is currently the CISO at KUDO. Prior to this, they were the Vice President, Corporate and Product Security at CellTrust Corporation from January 2019 to August 2020. Frank has also served as the Chief, Technology & Information Security Practice at ITPG SecureCompliance from October 2010 to December 2018 and as the General Manager and VP of Configuration Management Product Line at Lumension Security from September 2004 to September 2005. In addition, they were the Chief Technology Officer at AiRISTA Flow from September 2008 to December 2010 and the Principal Engineer and Architect at TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (now Comtech) from September 2000 to September 2004. Frank began their career as a Software Development Lead at T. Rowe Price from January 1999 to December 2000.

Frank Shirmo received a B.S. in Computer Science & Management from Towson University, an M.E.S. in Computer Science & Management from Loyola University, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Management from the University of Maryland. Frank is certified by (ISC)² as a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Frank is also certified by the Mobile Resources Group as a Certified Mobile Device Security Professional (CMDSP) and by (ISC)² as a Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP). Finally, they are certified by the PCI Security Standards Council as a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

Frank Shirmo reports to Fardad Zabetian, Co-founder & CEO. They work with Arian Motamenzadeh - VP, Sales, Marion J. I. Guerriero - Director of Product Marketing, and Anthony Trapani - Director of Talent.
