Omkar Pawaskar

Omkar Pawaskar is a sound engineer and content creator who has worked in the radio industry for over 10 years. Omkar is currently a Senior Creative Producer at Kuku FM, where they create original non-fiction content.

Before joining Kuku FM, Omkar worked as a sound editor for Radio We (Welingkar Campus Radio), as well as a host on the #Fame app. Omkar also held the position of Assistant Programming Head at Fever 104 FM (HT Media Ltd.) for six years, where they were responsible for overseeing the programming schedule and working with various radio programs.

Omkar has also worked on projects and initiatives outside of their regular job roles. Omkar designed the sound for the short film ‘When Fate Cheats’, and has also been a part of Radio Wani’s recording studio team.

Omkar Pawaskar completed a postgraduate degree in media and entertainment from the Welingkar Institute of Management. Omkar also holds a sound recording and reproduction degree from the University of Mumbai. Omkar's undergraduate degree is in chemistry from D.G Ruparel College, Mumbai University. Omkar has also completed their H.S.C from Dr. Antonio Da Silva technical college, Maharashtra Board and their S.S.C from I.E.S Modern English School, Maharashtra Board.
