Karla Makholm, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Karla began their career at Beer Alien as a Marketing Coordinator, where they oversaw PR/Marketing interns and curated content for BevMo! Thirsty Times Blog. Karla then moved on to Hoplight Social as a Social Media Marketing Manager, where they managed marketing staff, handled daily operations, and cultivated relationships with businesses and media teams.

In 2015, Karla joined Secret Coffee Company as an Operations Manager, where they oversaw green coffee sourcing, production, and daily operations. Karla also developed strategic relationships with suppliers, negotiated contracts, and implemented accounting processes. Karla later became the Director of Operations, focusing on business development, marketing, and cost reduction strategies. Karla launched a new website and expanded services to the wedding and special events industry, resulting in increased sales revenue and reduced costs.

Currently, Karla is working at KULR Technology Group, Inc as the Director of Supply Chain. Karla'sresponsibilities include leading the supply chain team, project managing ERP and Demand Planning software implementations, and coordinating cybersecurity initiatives. Karla also engages with leading Aerospace & Defense customers as an Account Manager, managing projects from initiation to completion, negotiating contracts, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Throughout their work experience, Karla has showcased strong leadership, organizational skills, and a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.

Karla Makholm completed their Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in International Studies from Seattle University in 2012. Karla pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management in 2022. Additionally, they participated in study abroad programs at Institut catholique de Paris in 2011 and Charles University in 2010, earning course credits.
