Mike Behnke started their career in 1995 as a Lead Production Technician at Ann Arbor News. Mike then worked at Computer Renaissance Ann Arbor, where they began as a retail sales rep and later handled all small business transactions. In 1999, they became the Owner and Software Developer at Local PC Guy.
In 2009, Mike joined Perficient as a Senior Interactive Developer, specializing in front-end web development. Mike also worked on full-stack development and Android development during their time there. Mike continued their role as a Senior Software Engineer (Web Development) when Enlighten was acquired by Perficient.
From 2010 to 2012, Mike took on a part-time position as a Press Operator at Ann Arbor Offset while focusing on their web development career.
