Chris O'Connor

Chris O'Connor has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Chris is currently a Partner & Chief Investment Officer at Golden Rock Capital Pte Ltd since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Kumi Analytics Pte Ltd as the Chief Financial Officer starting in 2023. From 2014 to 2019, they served as the CFO & Advisor to the Chairman at Myanmar Industrial Port. Chris also held various roles at Renew Solution from 2009 to 2013, including Chief Financial Officer and Director of Corporate Development. Chris began their career at Deutsche Bank in 1999, where they held positions such as Head of Illiquid Assets/Private Equity within Global Markets Equity Europe, Head of US Equity Institutional Sales/Trading-London, and Vice President US Equity Institutional Sales.

Chris O'Connor's education history begins in 1987 when they enrolled in Gettysburg College. Chris studied there for four years, from 1987 to 1991, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on History and Political Science.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Chris pursued further education at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Chris attended this institution from 1997 to 1999 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Their area of specialization during their MBA program was in Finance & Accounting.
