Liansheng Li

Liansheng Li has extensive work experience in the biosciences industry. Liansheng is currently serving as the Senior Director of Chemistry at Kumquat Biosciences Inc. since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Wellspring Biosciences for seven years in the same role. Before joining Wellspring, Liansheng Li was a Project Leader at Takeda from February 2012 to August 2012, where they played a key role in integrating Intellikine programs into Takeda after the acquisition. Liansheng also served as a Project Leader at Intellikine Inc. from October 2007 to February 2012. Prior to that, Liansheng Li held positions as a Senior Scientist at Anadys Pharmaceuticals from August 2005 to October 2007, and at Vicuron Pharmaceuticals from February 2004 to August 2005.

Liansheng Li's education history begins in 1992 when they enrolled at Nankai University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry in 1996. Subsequently, they pursued a higher level of education and attended the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, CAS from 1996 to 2001, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry. Following their doctoral studies, they conducted further research at Scripps Research as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Organic Chemistry from 2001 to 2004.
