Jonathan Danforth

Jonathan Danforth is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Kunai since February 2024, Jonathan previously held a similar role at Udacity, where leadership in integrating internal privacy management systems was demonstrated. Prior experience includes a Backend Engineer position at Lambda School, leading a team of developers to enhance the admissions webapp, and a Lead Software Developer role at Wanderu, Inc, where Jonathan managed integrations with over 400 partners. Early career positions include Test Engineer and QA Engineer roles at Google and ITA Software, respectively, as well as significant contributions as a Senior QA Engineer at Gensym, where automated testing processes were dramatically improved. Jonathan holds an MA in Linguistics and Ethnomusicology from Lesley University and a BA in Musicolinguistics from Long Island University.
