Sanna Karppinen

Sanna Karppinen is a seasoned risk and compliance professional with diverse experience spanning over 17 years. Currently serving as a Risk Officer at Kuntarahoitus – MuniFin since December 2021, Sanna previously held the position of Ground Operation Compliance Specialist at Finnair, focusing on compliance monitoring and reporting. Prior experience includes consulting on risk assessments for the City of Salo, and significant roles in compliance at J.P. Morgan and Linklaters, where Sanna developed and managed AML regulation procedures. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Commercial Law from the University of Westminster and various courses in Criminal and Commercial Law from the University of Lapland.
