Marja Hedman

Marja Hedman is a Senior Medical Physician of Cardiovascular Imaging at Kuopio University Hospital (KUH) since November 2019, where leadership includes overseeing clinical cardiac multimodality imaging and serving as a co-leader of a research group focused on prognostic factors of aortic dilatation and rupture, as well as advancements in cardiovascular imaging techniques. Previously, Marja served as a Senior Medical Officer at Fimea from January 2010 to December 2011. Marja obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicine from the University of Eastern Finland between 1997 and 2003.
