Kristin Jones

Kristin Jones, PhD has extensive work experience in the medical writing and regulatory field. Kristin most recently worked at Kura Oncology, Inc. as a Senior Director, Medical Writing and previously as a Director, Medical Writing. Prior to that, they were a Regulatory Writing Manager at Amgen. Kristin also held roles at CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services as an Assistant Director, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs, and a Senior Scientist, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs. Kristin has also worked as a Medical Writer at Writing Assistance, Inc. and Medpace. Kristin started their career as a Research Scientist and Medical Writer at Camargo Pharmaceutical Services. Before entering the medical writing field, Kristin gained experience as an Analytical Chemist at McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals and IBAH Pharmaceutics.

Kristin Jones, PhD, completed their education in a logical chronology. Kristin began their academic journey at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from 1992 to 1996. Building upon this foundation, they pursued further education at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, specializing in Cancer Biology. From 1999 to 2004, they successfully completed their studies and earned a Doctorate in Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cancer Biology.
