Yun Shan

Yun Shan has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Yun started their career as a Research Associate at Pfizer in 2001. Yun then joined Arena Pharmaceuticals where they worked as an Associate Scientist before being promoted to Scientist I. In this role, they provided toxicology formulation support and conducted screenings for stable forms and polymorphs. Yun also collaborated with various teams to enhance the bioavailability and stability of compounds. After leaving Arena Pharmaceuticals, Yun Shan joined Arena Pharmaceutical as a Scientist II, where they led a team and provided preformulation support for drug discovery programs. Yun advised the discovery team on physicochemical properties and played a key role in reducing attrition rates. Yun then worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions as an Analytical Manager before joining Kura Oncology, Inc. as an Associate Director and eventually a Director in the Analytical Development department.
