Brent Takao

Brent Takao has over 26 years of work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Brent'smost recent position was Chief Accounting Officer at Kura Sushi USA, which they started in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Finance at Kura Sushi USA from September 2019 to August 2022. Before joining Kura Sushi USA, Brent has worked at Western Digital as the Corporate Controller from 2012 to 2019 and Assistant Corporate Controller from 2007 to 2012. Brent also gained experience as an Assistant Corporate Controller at Dot Hill Systems from 2005 to 2007, and as a Controller at TraPac from 2004 to 2005 and Classic Party Rentals from 2002 to 2004. Brent began their career at Arthur Andersen as an Experienced Senior Auditor from 1998 to 2002, and as a Mutual Fund Accountant at PIMCO from 1995 to 1998.

Brent Takao received their MBA from USC Marshall School of Business from 2003 to 2005. Brent earned their BA in Economics from UCLA between 1990 and 1994.
