Dr. Samuel Michel

Dr. Samuel Michel is an experienced professional in polymer chemistry and waterborne systems, currently serving as Senior Manager Waterborne System at Kuraray Europe GmbH since January 2004. Prior roles at Kuraray include Technical Service Manager for PVOH, polymer chemistry, and PVA applications, as well as Lab Manager for emulsion polymerization, PVC, and barrier applications. Prior to Kuraray, Dr. Michel worked as a Chemist at YKK Europe Limited, focused on product development, and briefly as a Laboratory Technician at Hutchinson. Dr. Michel earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical Chemistry from the University of Duisburg-Essen, along with multiple degrees in chemistry and related fields from the University of Greenwich, Thames Polytechnic, and IUT de Béthune.
