Takaharu Kawahara

Takaharu Kawahara is an experienced executive currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Kuraray America, Inc., a position held since February 2022. Kawahara has been with Kuraray since January 2018, previously holding roles as Officer and General Manager of the Technology division, as well as Executive Officer and General Manager of Production and Technology Management division. Prior to this, Kawahara was Vice President of Operations and Technology at Kuraray Europe GmbH from January 2015 to December 2017. Takaharu Kawahara earned a Master of Science degree from Hokkaido University between April 1985 and March 1987 and attended 札幌東 from 1976 to 1979.
