Independence Talken

Independence Talken is a knowledgeable legal professional currently serving as a Law Clerk at Kutak Rock since March 2023. With previous experience as Editor In Chief for the Nebraska Law Review (Volume 101) and as a Legal Intern at Skydio, Independence has demonstrated strong editorial and legal skills. Prior roles include serving as a Cybersecurity/Strategic Analyst for NORAD & US Northern Command and a Law Clerk for the Nebraska Department of Justice – Office of the Attorney General. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, where Independence also contributed as a Dynamics Tutor and Researcher. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Social Chair for the Band of the Fighting Irish and a Small Group Mentor for Notre Dame Vision.
