Matt Hunt

Matt Hunt has more than 15 years of work experience in the recycling industry. Matt currently holds the position of Head of Operations at Kuusakoski Recycling since August 2023. Prior to that, they worked at EMR as the Green Steel Lead from September 2022 to August 2023, and as the Regional General Manager for Non-Ferrous from January 2022 to September 2022. Before joining EMR, Matt Hunt worked at ELG Stainless EMEA as the Vice President of Operations North from April 2020 to January 2021, and was on garden leave from January 2021 to December 2021. Matt also has experience at ELG Haniel Metals Ltd, where they served as the Operations Director from July 2018 to January 2021, the Commercial Manager for Alloys from January 2014 to April 2020, and as a Stainless Steel Trader from September 2006 to January 2014. Mr. Hunt began their career at Outokumpu as a Purchasing Assistant from June 2005 to June 2006.

Matt Hunt attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a 2:1 BA Business Studies Hons degree.
