Mario Zlatanovic has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Mario started their career as a Cadet in Maruta in 2001 and progressed to become a 2nd Officer before leaving in 2009. Mario then joined Globtik Express Agency as a 2nd Officer from 2010 to 2015. In 2016, they moved on to Gestmar Tehnika, where they initially served as a 2nd Officer for a brief period before being promoted to Chief Officer. Mario held the position of Chief Officer at Gestmar Tehnika until 2019 when they joined Kuwait Oil Tanker Company, where they currently serve as Chief Officer.
Mario Zlatanovic attended Nautical High School Split from 1996 to 2000. Mario later studied Nautical Studies at the Faculty of Maritime Studies Split from 2013 to 2015.

Kuwait Oil Tanker Company
Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC) is a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC). The Company is mainly involved in the ownership and management of tankers engaged in the transport of crude oil, refined petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gases (LPG). In addition, it also operates a Marine Agency Branch, acting as sole agent of all tankers calling at Kuwait’s sea port and a Gas Branch for the filling and distribution of LPG cylinders for local industry and domestic consumption. As the transportation arm of KPC, it operates, on a commercial basis, a modern balanced fleet of Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), petroleum product tankers and LPG carriers to maintain a strategic coverage of KPC’s oil exports to all corners of the globe. The fleet of KOTC has over the years increased to 16 petroleum product tankers, six crude oil tankers, six liquefied gas tankers, two ship fuel boats and several supply and tug boats.
