Angelique Lizarde

Angelique Lizarde is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting, currently serving as the Weekday Anchor at KVOA-TV since July 2021. In this role, Angelique develops story ideas, conducts interviews, and delivers reports live on air, while collaborating closely with production teams to create engaging content across multiple platforms. Previously, Angelique held positions as Evening Anchor and Breaking News Reporter at KVOA-TV and KFMB-TV, respectively, showcasing a strong ability to manage breaking news and interact effectively with audiences on social media. Angelique's journalism career began with roles at San Diego 6 News CW and San Diego Miramar College, complemented by a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego.
