Lucas Dickerson

Lucas Dickerson has extensive experience in English language instruction, currently serving as an Instructor of English as a Foreign Language and Associate Lecturer in the School of Policy Studies at Kwansei Gakuin University since April 2019. Previously, Lucas was an Assistant Professor in the College of Foreign Studies at Kansai Gaidai University from April 2015 to March 2019, and a Lecturer at the Center for English as a Second Language at Southern Illinois University from August 2014 to March 2015. Additional roles include a Teaching Assistant at Kansai Gaidai University, where responsibilities included supervising the Writing Center and tutoring ELL students, as well as an Adjunct Instructor at Southern Illinois University. Lucas's career began as an Assistant Language Teacher with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me), working in various educational settings. Academically, Lucas holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language and a Master of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting, both from Southern Illinois University.
