Gemma Molero

Gemma Molero has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of plant research. From 2011 to 2020, they worked at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), gradually progressing from a Post-Doctoral Fellow to a Senior Research Scientist. During their time at CIMMYT, they were involved in various research roles, including Scientist and Associate Scientist. Prior to their time at CIMMYT, they pursued a PhD in Plant Physiology at the University of Barcelona from 2005 to 2010. Currently, Gemma Molero is working as a Group Lead Wheat Research and Pre-Breeding at KWS Group since June 2023.

Gemma Molero completed their undergraduate studies at Universitat de Barcelona, earning a degree in Biología Agroalimentaria y Biotecnología in 2004. In 2005, they participated in an Erasmus Exchange at King's College London.
