Kayla Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles related to social media and marketing. Starting in 2019, they worked as a Social Media Intern for Aubry Lane, where they developed content, promoted products, and managed social media and marketing efforts. In the same year, they also served as a Social Media Intern for Furtrieve, where they were part of a marketing team responsible for creating content and managing social media and advertisements.

In 2020, Kayla held multiple positions, including a PR Agency-Ready Certificate Program Participant at PR Council, a TechPoint S.O.S. Challenge Participant at TechPoint, and a Social Media Intern for BSU Philosophy Outreach Project. Kayla also worked as a Public Relations Associate at The McKinley Avenue Agency and as a Social Media Intern for Hope Magazine during this time.

From 2018 to 2019, Kayla worked as the Director of Special Events for the University Program Board.

In 2021, they joined BCW Global as an Account Coordinator, Performance Media, and later held roles as an Assistant Account Executive and Account Executive, Performance Media. Kayla'sresponsibilities included managing performance media accounts and executing social media and influencer strategies.

Most recently, Kayla has been working at KWT Global as an Account Executive, Social Media + Influencer, starting in February 2023.

Kayla Smith completed their Baccalaureate Diploma at Shortridge IB High School from 2015 to 2017. Kayla then pursued a degree in Telecommunications with a focus on Emerging Media at Ball State University from 2017 to 2021. Alongside their formal education, Kayla also obtained several certifications. These include the Agency-Ready Certificate from PR Council in August 2020, the 2020 EDGE Summer Series from Marketing EDGE in July 2020, the Fundamentals of Social Media certification from Muck Rack in July 2020, the Adobe Certified Associate in Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop from Adobe in April 2021, the Google Analytics for Beginners certification from Google in August 2020, and the HubSpot Content Marketing Certification from HubSpot in November 2020.
