Philip Collier

Philip Collier has extensive experience in medicinal chemistry, with their most recent position being Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Kymera Therapeutics since March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals for over 13 years, starting as a Research Scientist I in 2004 and progressing to various positions including Senior Research Scientist, Associate Director, and finally Fellow (Director) of Medicinal Chemistry until March 2022. Before joining Vertex Pharmaceuticals, they also held the position of Research Scientist II at Vertex Pharmaceuticals (Europe) Limited.

Philip Collier has a BSc degree in Chemistry with First Class Honours from University College Cork, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Philip then went on to pursue a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of York from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they attended Caltech in 2002 and Imperial College London in 2003 for undisclosed courses or degrees.
