Xiaozhang Zheng

Xiaozhang Zheng has extensive work experience in the field of chemistry. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at AMRI, focusing on inflammation and oncology programs. Xiaozhang successfully developed a synthetic route for GABAb agonists. From 2000 to 2008, they worked at Neurogen Corporation as a Research Fellow and Senior Scientist, contributing to various programs and discovering advanced compounds for clinical trials. From 2008 to 2019, they held several roles at FORMA Therapeutics, including Director in Chemistry, where they led multiple projects and partnerships, providing scientific guidance and training to direct reports. Since 2019, they have been working at Kymera Therapeutics as an Executive Director in Chemistry, overseeing the chemistry department.

Xiaozhang Zheng obtained a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, completing the program from 1992 to 1996.
