Brendan Mills has a strong background in the technology and healthcare sectors. Brendan began their career as a Systems Administrator at Nine Network Australia in 2000, where they worked until 2002. Brendan then moved to Hunter Imaging as an IT Services Coordinator for a year before taking on the role of IT Manager - Health at nib Group from 2003 to 2006. Brendan then served as the IT Infrastructure Services and Operations Manager at nib Group from 2006 to 2010, followed by the role of Group Information Technology Manager from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, Brendan became the Group Chief Information Officer at nib Group, overseeing the strategic development and delivery of the organization's global Group Technology Services. Brendan also held leadership positions outside of nib Group, such as Chairman at Digital Health Ventures Pty Ltd from 2015 onwards. Most recently, they have been a Director at Honeysuckle Health since 2020 and will serve as a Director at Kynd from 2023. Throughout their career, Brendan has focused on aligning technology strategies with business objectives, implementing governance frameworks, and driving the use of data and technology to enhance customer experiences and predict future health needs.
Brendan Mills completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2019. In 1998 to 1999, they attended TAFE NSW and studied Information Technology.
