Lily Oei

Lily Oei has extensive experience in the media industry. Lily currently holds the position of Editorial Director at kyu Collective, a role they have held since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Content Director at Martian Arts from an unspecified date in 2020 until November 2021.

Lily's previous experience includes a long tenure at HBO, where they served as a Senior Editor from 2010 to 2020. In this role, they supervised a team responsible for creating original content for hbo.com and managed the written aspects of the site.

Before their time at HBO, Lily worked as an Editor at AMC Networks from 2008 to 2010. There, they managed freelance writers, maintained editorial calendars, and strategized editorial content for the network's websites.

Lily's career in media began as a Writer for Digital & Print, where they worked from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Reporter for Variety from 2001 to 2004, covering a range of topics including cable TV, kids programming, independent film, and New York events. Lily also wrote features and profiles for the paper's other editions.

In 2000, Lily worked as an Assistant to the President/Publisher at Talk Magazine.

Lily Oei holds a B.A. in Art History from Williams College. Lily also completed a Certificate in Publishing from Columbia University.
