Arturo Piña currently serves as the Manager of Community Resource Center Administration at L.A. Care Health Plan since December 2022. Previously, Piña held the role of Manager of Outreach & Education at FilmLA from August 2013 to September 2022, focusing on facilitating communication among film productions, neighborhoods, and government in the Los Angeles area. Piña's extensive experience with the City of Los Angeles includes serving as District Director for Councilmember Rosendahl, overseeing projects for constituents, as well as Assistant General Manager for the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment, where oversight of neighborhood councils was a key responsibility. Additionally, Piña was the Interim Executive Director of the Human Relations Commission, managing inter-group relations efforts in Los Angeles. Earlier experience includes serving as Volunteer Manager at Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, where job training programs were developed to support individuals transitioning into employment. Arturo Piña holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Strategic Communications from Washington State University and completed education at Downtown Business Magnet from 1986 to 1988.
