Francisco Oaxaca

Francisco Oaxaca is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations, community engagement, and organizational communications. Currently serving as Chief of Communications and Community Relations at L.A. Care Health Plan since June 2014, Francisco has also held roles such as Senior Director and Director of Communications within the same organization. Additional contributions include serving as a Board Member for the City of Rancho Cucamonga EIFD Public Financing Authority and prior membership on the Planning and Historic Preservation Commission. Francisco previously worked at First 5 LA as Director of Public Affairs, focusing on child advocacy initiatives, and held positions at Nusura, Inc., JL Patterson & Associates, and Metrolink in various communications capacities. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Southern California and an MBA in Information Technology from the University of Redlands.
